Leadership within the local church sets the course for the entire church. Churches around the world are set up differently; however, we believe in a New Testament, “5-Fold” (see Ephesians 4:11-12) style of church leadership. We believe that leadership is for the mentoring and establishing believers in their walks with God, and equipping them for works of ministry.
As you read about the various teams below, make a note of what area you’d most like to grow in. Then contact one of our leadership team members, and he/she will gladly help mentor you and help you grow in your walk with God.
At NCCA, we recognize the Biblical, apostolic ministry. The Greek word for apostle is “apostolos”, which literally means, “one who is sent”. Both those who were sent here to start this work as well as those who are sent out from this place to start, establish, and/or equip other works, ministries, and other Kingdom business with the apostolic anointing. Our leadership team not only has apostles, but it also has those who are “apostolic” – those who are not necessarily apostles, but those who have an apostolic anointing on their lives. This team is comprised not only of our founding and senior leaders, Bishop Randy Morgan and Apostle Johnny Layton, but other leaders throughout the Covenant Network, which meet together regularly to discuss how to equip the church.
