We believe in God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the Bible. It is God’s Word, and when correctly interpreted and obeyed, it is the expression of His Lordship in written form in the church and in the life of believers (2 Timothy 3:16 / John 10:34-35 / John 1).
We believe that humanity is separated from God by sin (Isaiah 59:2)
We believe that Jesus died in order to do away with sin’s effects and unite us with God (1 Peter 3:18)
We believe in salvation initiated by God’s Grace and activated by a person’s faith expressed through calling on the name of Jesus Christ. This experience unites God and anyone who will receive it (Ephesians 2:8 / Romans 10:31 / Acts 2:21).
Baptism in Holy Spirit
We believe in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues as a second work of God’s Grace in the life of a believer. This experience brings power into the believer’s life (Acts 1:8, 2:1-4, 10:44-46, 19:6).
Important stuff we do and experience:
We believe in worship. This is the highest calling of every believer (John 4:23).
We believe in prayer. This is God’s method of getting His Will accomplished in the earth (Matthew 6:10).
We believe in hearing the Word of God taught. This is God’s way to infuse faith into His people (Romans 10:17).
We believe in faithfulness to a local church. This is God’s mechanism by which He operates in the earth (Hebrews 10:25).
We believe in miracles. This is God’s expression of Himself among His people (Mark 16:20 / Acts 14:3).
We believe that all people are welcome to fellowship with God and experience the fullness of the calling of God on their lives, including gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender individuals (Romans 10:13 / Acts 8:26-38)
